"AzQtel" LLC operating in Azerbaijani internet market under brand "Sazz 4G" has been awarded a honorary diploma by the Ministry of Information and Information Technologies, the company's press release says on Wednesday.
The given award signed by the Communication and Information Technologies Minister Ali Abbasov was granted to Sazz 4G Internet for application of high-speed wireless internet in the regions.
"Sazz 4G" Internet is one of the first networks of high-speed wireless Internet access on Mobile WiMAX technology in Azerbaijan. Sazz 4G Internet services are available throughout the capital Baku, in the coastal areas of Absheron peninsula, Khirdalan, Sumgayıt, Mingachevir and Ganja cities.
Beginning from the year of 2013, Sazz 4G İnternet have plans to extend its services to six more cities namely Shaki, and Zaqatala in the northwest, Quba and Qusar in the north, and Masally and Lankaran in the south. According to the Sammy Boakye, Chief Operating Officer the Company, the equipments imported under the agreement with ZTE, WiMAX manufacturers, are intended, along with expansion of "Sazz 4G" Internet network, to improve the existing network.
Sazz service comprises of up to 10 mbit/s unlimited traffic for a fixed monthly rate. It means that connection speed remains stable irrespective of the traffic size used.The Company provides 5-day test period for subscribers wishing to connect to its services.
