As of September 1, 2012, the cost of living for an able-bodied man in Georgia amounted to 145.5 lari ($1=1.65 lari), the Georgian Statistics Agency told Trend on Thursday. According to the information, the figure is 9.5 lari less than the previous year.
The cost of living for the average consumer as of September 1 this year amounted to 128.9 lari that is it decreased by 8.4 lari, for the family - 244.1 lari which is 1.3 lari less than last year compared to the same period of 2011.
As of August 1, 2012, the cost of living for an able-bodied man in Georgia hit 146.5 lari, for the average consumer - 129.7 lari and for the average family - 245.7 lari.
The level of deflation in Georgia in January-July 2012 was 2.1 per cent.
