By Nana Kirtzkhalia - Trend: The ruling Georgian Dream coalition will nominate Georgia's current Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, David Narmania to the post of Tbilisi city's mayor, a message of Georgian Prime Minister's press service said on Nov. 23.
The coalition's political council made this decision at its meeting, the message said.
"The issue of nominating the coalition's candidate to the mayor's post was discussed and all members unanimously supported Narmania's candidacy," the message said.
The elections to Georgia's local authorities are scheduled to be held in May, 2014.
