Two people have died of swine flu in the German state of Lower Saxony, a state Social Ministry spokesman said Monday, dpa reported.
A three-year-old girl and a 51-year-old man, who had been suffering from an earlier ailment, have died of the H1N1 influenza virus, commonly referred to as swine flu, reported the official.
Both lived in the city of Goettingen, the spokesman said.
