Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has held the first meeting with the European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy, Stefan Fule in Brussels.

During the meeting the parties discussed the reforms carried out in the country and Georgia's course towards European integration, the press service of the Georgian prime minister told Trend.

Additionally, during the meeting it was stressed that in accordance with the European integration agenda, great significance is attached to the reforms carried out in Georgia in this sphere.

During the meeting, the Georgian side again expressed its readiness to fulfill all the commitments and to speed up the reforms in the sphere of European integration.

The issues of cooperation between Georgia and EU were also discussed at the meeting. Particularly, the prospects of signing the association agreement were discussed and hope was expressed that the signing of the agreement will create a new reality in relations between Georgia and the EU.
