Azerbaijan has provided assistance to victims of the cold in Romania

By order of President Ilham Aliyev humanitarian aid to the population of the mountainous areas of Romania, affected by continuous snowfall and cold anomalies was provided, said in the press-release of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Romania, released on Sunday.
The assistance campaign, announced to meet the needs of the population in the paralyzed transport, organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Romania, the Romanian representation of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, a bilateral Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Azerbaijan-Romania, as well as Azerbaijani companies, which are working in this country, different kinds of food, medicines and medical devices, as well as warm clothes were granted.
It should be noted that the move of Azerbaijan, never refused to Romania in aid to disaster management, was rated as an important indicator of friendship and strategic partnership between the two countries.
The people of Romania and the public appreciated the quick response as usual in our country to appeals for humanitarian aid.
