A meeting of the GUAM Ministerial Council has been held in Dublin today.

Azerbaijani, Ukrainian, Georgian and Moldovan foreign ministers held discussions within the meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council, held in Dublin on December 6-7.

GUAM Secretary General has also attended the forum, Trend special correspondent reported.

Chechelashvili told media that the countries' cooperation issues will be discussed within the meeting. The ministers will make a review of all the working groups, which operate within the organization, and determine the areas for further cooperation.

The ministers have discussed the draft resolution "Protracted conflicts in the GUAM area and their consequences for international peace, security and development", which is planned to be submitted for discussion within the UN. The issue of GUAM summit to be held in Baku in 2013 was also in the agenda of discussions.

The Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM is a regional organization established in 1997 by Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova (Uzbekistan was a member of the organization from 1999 to 2005).
