JSC Azerbaijan airlines is intending to launch the implementation of direct flights through the Baku-Beijing/ Beijing-Baku route, in the first part of September, 2013, with the aim of further extending flight routes., said a JSC source told Trend on Thursday.
Primarily, the opening of a new flight to China was planned for May 10, but the opening was postponed due to China's new demands on JSC.
The flights will be carried out twice a week on Tuesdays and on Fridays by an Airbus А-340 Boing 767.
"All the issues have already been agreed and the flight will be opened,in September," the source said.
In addition, JSC Azerbaijan Airlines provides special transferring tariffs to passengers traveling to cities in China, such as Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shendzhen, Hangzhou, Zhengzhou, Xi'an (Xi'an), Chengdu and others, to the airports of Eastern and South-Eastern Asian countries through Beijing airport, jointly with the Chinese aviation company partners.
