The multi-vendor TransLink.iQ system, which is supplied to Azerbaijan, provides entrepreneurs with the opportunity to connect EFTPOS terminals made by different manufacturers, Executive Director of Lithuanian ASHBURN International company Zhorzas Sarafanovicius said in an interview with Trend.
Sarafanovicius spoke about TransLink.iQ innovative system, its advantages and multi-vendor system.
“The solution can be successfully applied to a number of devices manufactured by Verifone, PAX Technology or Ingenico companies,” executive director said. “We have been cooperating with them for many years.”
“We have installed the terminals of Ingenico, the world leader in the production of systems for making quick payments, for Azer Turk Bank for the first time in Azerbaijan,” Sarafanovicius said.
“Another advantage of TransLink.iQ is multi-merchant function support,” executive director said. “The solution allows using one physical device to make payments to several sellers of goods and services. This reduces the cost of renting an EFTPOS terminal as several merchants can use one device at once. A merchant to which the payment is being made can be chosen in various ways up to using the specialized ID-cards."
The TransLink.iQ system allows sending transactions to various acquiring banks depending on the card parameters, which reduces the cost of transaction processing for merchants and in some cases makes it possible to save on trading acquiring fees.
EFTPOS terminal - Ingenico Move 2500 is an acquiring device, which has been sold since 2019. Such a model is optimally suited for the spheres of activity where mobility is required. The autonomous work is carried out through the battery. The functionality envisages the acceptance of contactless payment (PayPass). Wi-Fi, GPRS, 3G or Ethernet port are used to connect to the network.
