BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 11. The electronic information system of competition is technically ready, head of the State Service for Antimonopoly Control and Consumer Market Supervision under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan Mammad Abbasbayli said at the first National Competitiveness Forum held in Baku, Trend reports.
"Technical preparations have been made for the Electronic Competition Information System (ERIS). All that is needed is a certain regulatory foundation. The system will be released onto the market after it is ready. The Portal of Quality is also technically ready because we are also responsible for quality regulation. A large audience will be able to access the technology following regulatory approval," he said.
To note, the State Service for Antimonopoly Supervision and Consumer Market Control participates in the preparation and implementation of state policy in the fields of antimonopoly policy, public procurement, technical regulation, standardization, metrology, and consumer protection. The main mission of the service is to create conditions for free competition and effective protection of entrepreneurship, which ensures sustainable development of the country's economy.
