BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 16. An Uzbek-Azerbaijani business forum and the Made in Azerbaijan exhibition will take place in Tashkent on August 22-23, Trend reports via the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan.

This forum will contribute to strengthening economic ties between the two countries, developing cooperation, attracting investments, and implementing joint projects.

Moreover, the event will serve as a platform for discussing ways to increase trade volumes, exchange experiences, and establish new partnerships among business representatives.

Alongside this business forum, an exhibition of products from Azerbaijan is planned.

A group has been set up for Uzbek and Azerbaijani entrepreneurs who aim to strengthen business connections, exchange cutting-edge ideas, and organize meetings for fruitful cooperation.

Registration for the forum will take place on August 22 from 9:00 to 10:00 (GMT +4).

Meanwhile, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan from January through May 2024 amounted to more than $68.8 million, making up 0.9 percent of Azerbaijan's total foreign trade turnover.

Furthermore, during this period, Uzbekistan imported $10.6 million worth of products from Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan's exports to Azerbaijan amounted to $58.2 million.
