Azerbaijani Defense Minister Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov and the ministerial leadership visited military units in the frontline zone upon the instructions of Azerbaijani President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, the country’s Defense Ministry said in a message Jan. 29.
According to the message, Hasanov reviewed Armenia’s positions on the frontline.
During the meeting with the personnel, the minister was informed about the current situation.
Reportedly, the Azerbaijani army’s units located there are fully provided with drinking water, heating system, shower rooms, warm bedding and other winter accessories.
Expressing confidence in the fulfillment of the tasks set by the president for the Azerbaijani army, Hasanov appreciated the combat effectiveness, moral and psychological training of servicemen.
Taking part in the opening of one of the new units in the frontline zone, Hasanov reviewed the conditions created there, talked and had lunch with the personnel.
