Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend E.Huseynli / There was a serious traffic accident in the district of Garadagh in Baku in the early hours of 5 November, killing 14 people and seriously injuring four.
A Kamaz truck collided with a Mercedes passenger bus.
Tariyel Gurbanov, the Prosecutor of Garadagh district of Baku, told Trend that the driver of the Kamaz, Khalid Alishov, had been apprehended and was taken to the Police department. Atamali Babayev, the driver of the Mercedes died at the scene of the incident.
The prosecutor said that the condition of the injured is serious.
According to the Garadagh Prosecutor General's office an investigation is underway for contravening traffic laws and dangerous driving, leading to the death of two or more people.
