Azerbaijan, Gazakh, 25 October / Trend T.Zaur/ The threat resulting from gas escape on the Gazimahammad-Gazakh pipeline in the western region of Azerbaijan was eliminated.
Gas escape on a pipe with a diameter of 1,000mm on the 360th km of the Gazimahammad-Gazakh pipeline was revealed by villagers nearby Kochasgar village in the Agstafa region on 24 October at 19:00, Ahmad Panahov, head of Gazakh Pipeline Administration, said to Trend on 25 October.
The threat was eliminated. Gas supply to Agstafa and Tovuz towns will be temporary stopped on 26 October due to repair of the pipeline.
