Landslide activates in north Azerbaijan

Landslide has activated in
Gusar region of Azerbaijan.
The landslide covers an area of 10,000 square meters, the
Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
The landslide came down in mid-March 2009 in the village of Urva of Gusar region, as a result of rainfall on Feb. 22, and activated, creating a serious threat to the houses located in the nearby territory.
Presently, the relevant government bodies are making necessary arrangements.
Gusar is located in 200 km north of Baku.
