According to preliminary data, Azerbaijani citizen and native of the Sadarak region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was injured in the terrorist attack by militants belonging to the Kurdistan Workers' Party in the Turkish province of Igdir, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Elman Abdullayev told Trend today.
He added that the Azerbaijani Consulate General in Kars will render necessary assistance to the wounded.
The name and surname of the injured have not been identified, but according to the preliminary data, his name is Elchin.
Earlier, the Turkish media reported that civilians were injured in the PKK militants' attack on military vehicles.
