An earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale took place in the south region of Azerbaijan, the Republican Seismology Center of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan told Trend on Sunday.
Tremors were recorded at 15:19 am local time, 23 km east of the city of Lerik. The earthquake caused no injuries.
