An earthquake measuring four on the Richter scale occurred in the Pazardzhik area of Turkish province of Kahramanmaras on May 7, Hurriyet newspaper said on Tuesday.
According to the report, there is no information on casualties or damage yet.
Turkey is located in a seismically active area. Earthquakes often occur there. The strongest fluctuations in the earth's crust in the country were fixed in the Marmara Sea in 1999. The magnitude of tremors was 7.4 and 18,000 people were killed in the resulting earthquake.
