A fire broke out on the night of August 1, in one of the prisons in Turkey's Bilecik province, CNN Turk TV channel reported on Thursday.
As the TV channel reported, fire trucks and ambulances were sent to the scene. About seven prisoners and two employees of the prison were injured as a result of fire.
The wounded were rushed to the nearest hospitals. The fire was extinguished a few hours later after it began.
