Some 700 hectares of forest are burning in the Hatay province of Turkey as a result of incessant fires, CNN Turk channel reported on Wednesday.
The fires began on August 5 and have been continuing up till today. Fire trucks, four helicopters and three fire planes are involved in extinguishing the fires.
Forest fires have been continuing in Turkey since the end of last month. Earlier there were large fires in the forests of Mugla and Balıkesi provinces.
