One terrorist, two rangers killed in clashes with PKK in SE Turkey

( Cihan ) - One Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorist and two rangers were killed in a clash with PKK terrorists in southeastern Turkey.

Turkish security forces initiated an operation in southeastern Turkish province of Sirnak after the death of two soldiers on Tuesday.

In a clash with PKK terrorists in Sirnak's Beytussebap district the terrorists refused to surrender and opened fire on security forces killing two rangers.

The security forces killed one terrorist thus increasing the number of eliminated terrorists to eight in July.

According to the report of the General Staff issued for this month, eight terrorists were killed, two captured alive and five surrendered to Turkish security forces.
