CIS Countries’ Leaders Meet

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. А. Gasimova / The leaders of the CIS countries met in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Attending the summit are the Presidents of Russia, Tajikistan, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzia, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Moldova, as well as the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry. The summit is being held in the Presidential Palace where Inomali Rakhmonov 's inauguration for his third presidential term was held.

The CIS leaders are holding a wide composition summit to sign joint documents. Inomali Rakhmonov is organizing a dinner for the summit's participants in the Kohi Istiklal State Complex.

The main issue of the summit will be to discuss and approve projects on future cooperation among the CIS countries developed by intergovernmental Task Groups.

The participants of the summit will also discuss development in the migration sphere, as well as security in the CIS countries.
