Turkish-Armenian Border cannot be Opened in Current Situation: Turkish Prime Minister

Azerbaijan, Baku / / In this stage the opening of the Armenian -Turkish border is out of question, Rejeb Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish Prime Minister, said in an interview for CNN Turk on 10 October.

"We do not have any intention to build economic relations with Armenia until the Armenian occupation continues," Erdogan said. At the same time the Turkish Premier noted the absence of ant hostile attitude towards Armenia. "We have recently restored an historical monument- Armenian church in Turkey. "It represents our attention towards this country. However, any economic relations with Armenia is impossible until the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict," Erdogan stressed.
