Turkey Support Idea to Establish Turkic Speaking Language Countries Conference’s Parliamentary Assembly (video)

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. К.Ramazanova, E.Huseynli / Turkey supports the idea to establish the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic speaking language countries conference, Haluk Ipak, the co-chairman of the Inter parliamentary Friendship Group of Turkey and Azerbaijan, said.

"All Turkic speaking language countries should try to implement the idea. The issue will be discussed at the meetings and we hope we can reach a common agreement among all country-participants," Ipak said.

The Congress of World Azerbaijanis is planning to discuss the issue concerning establishment of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic speaking language countries during the 9th meeting of Friendship, Brotherhood and Cooperation of Turkic Speaking Languages," MP Sabir Rustamkhanli, the deputy chairman of the World Congress of Azerbaijanis, said to Trend news agency.

"The issue was discussed in Cyprus in 1992. Then the issue was not settled as there was not unity among Turkic language speaking countries. Today the situation is different and we hope to discuss the issue again," Rustamkhanli said.
