Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend K.Zarbaliyeva / A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Supreme Courts of Azerbaijan and Turkey on 20 November. The signing ceremony took place during the working visit of a delegation, headed by the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Turkey, Oman Arslan, to Azerbaijan.
The Chairman of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan, Ramiz Rzayev, who made a speech at the signing ceremony, informed the participants of reforms in the country. He said that this work found its reflection in the new structure and activity of the Supreme Court. Rzayev stated that the visit of his Turkish counterpart to Azerbaijan will give a boost to the further development of relations between the two countries.
The Chairman of the Supreme Court of Turkey, Oman Arslan, spoke of the activity of the Supreme Court headed by him and said that this cooperation will continue after this. The meeting focused on the court-legal relations between the two countries.
During their visit, the Turkish delegation is envisaging meeting with the Justice Minister, Chairman of the Constitutional Court, Speaker of the Parliament and the President of Azerbaijan.
