Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend I.Alizade / The Iranian speaker plans to discuss the expansion of the bilateral relations in Baku during his current visit, Gulamali Haddad Adel, the chairman of the Iranian Parliament, said in talks with journalists at the Heydar Aliyev Airport in Baku. " Iran attaches great importance to deepening relations with Azerbaijan. The expansion of relations already existing between Azerbaijan and Iran are of great importance to Iran," he said. The speaker also stressed the importance of developing interparliamentary relations.
The two-day visit paid at the invitation of the Azerbaijani Speaker, Oktay Asadov, is focused on developing relations between Azerbaijan and Iranian parliaments. Adel will meet with the Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister Artur Rasizade and the chairman of the Milli Majlis, Oktay Asadov.
The distinguished guest will visit the Baku State University and the Institute of Manuscripts. On 24 November he will then leave for Ganja to meet with the city leadership and attend cultural events.
