Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Agayeva / Azerbaijan is sure in further mutually beneficial cooperation with the new Ukrainian government.
"Relation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine is currently on the high level independently from who governs the state," Azerbaijani ambassador to Ukraine Talat Aliyev said to the Trend agency.
The policy carried out by the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Ukrainian President Viktor Yushenko is a real fact of good relations between the both countries.
The new Ukrainian government states about priorities of energy cooperation and Ukraine has intensive energy cooperation with Azerbaijan.
" Russia has already stated about increase of payment for gas supply to Ukraine beginning from 2008. Azerbaijan is ready to render assistance to Ukraine on the issue," ambassador stated.
