Azerbaijan, Baku, 31 March / Trend corr. S.Agayeva / This week, the newly appointed Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan will come to Baku, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ashgabat reported to Trend on 31 March.
Annamammad Mammadov was appointed as the new ambassador to Azerbaijan by the order of Turkmenistan President. Previously, Mammadov was a Colonel in the Consul of Turkmenistan in Istanbul, Turkey.
Seven years ago, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan was recalled back from Azerbaijan on the grounds of disputable field in the Caspian Sea.
After the election of new President, Turkmenistan managed to regulate the relations and debt of Baku for the gas with Azerbaijan.
Ashgabat is prepared to return to the discussion of Tran Caspian gas pipeline, lobbied by West, which provides delivery of Turkmen gas to Europe via Azerbaijan and Turkey.
