Estonia Pay Preference to Economic Cooperation with   Azerbaijan – Vice Speaker

Azerbaijan, Baku, 31 March / Trend corr. I.Alizadeh / Estonian businessmen are quite interested in investing in the economy of Azerbaijan. "Estonian businessmen are very much interested in the development of bilateral relations with Azerbaijan. The economy of Azerbaijan is developing at a commendable speed and Estonia pays much preference to the economic development with Azerbaijan," Kristiina Ojuland, the Vice Speaker of Estonian Parliament, stated to journalists.

Ojuland's three days visit to Azerbaijan starts on 31 March.

The economic cooperation may put some positive effect on the expansion of relationships between Azerbaijan and Estonia. Ojuland's visit's aim is to hold political discussions in order to expand relationship between the two countries.

Within the framework of the visit, Ojuland will meet with Oktai Asadov- Speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament, Elmar Mammadyarov- Foreign Minister, Heydar Babayev- Minister of Economic Development, members of Azerbaijani and Estonian inter-parliamentary friendship groups, and will also deliver a report about the state of women in Estonia in the standing commission on Legal Policy and State Building Issues.
