Azerbaijan, Baku, 17 June / corr. Trend M.Aliyev / The OSCE Appraisal Mission will discuss the pre-election situation in Azerbaijan during the meeting due in Baku on 20 June, Yon Ramberg, the Norwegian Ambassador to Azerbaijan said.
He did not divulge the details of the mission's work in Azerbaijan.
The presidential elections will be held in Azerbaijan on 15 October. The pre-elections campaign of the candidates will begin at the end of July or beginning of August.
The Musavat Party has nominated Isa Gambar, its chairman, the Azerbaijan Democratic Party (ADP) - Sardar Jaliloglu and the Green Party - Mais Gulaliyev, its chairman, the Social Forum of 'For Azerbaijan' - Eldar Namazov, its chairman and the Unified Popular Front Party - Gudrat Hasanguliyev, its chairman. The ruling New Azerbaijan Party will nominate Ilham Aliyev, the current Azerbaijani President.
