Georgia, Tbilisi, 19 August / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / Some 80% of local population returned their homes in Gori, Lado Vardzelashvili, governor in the Shida Kartli region, told Imedi radio.
The energy, electric energy and water supplies have been restored and life is going on in Gori," Vardzelashvili said.
Governor said that the Georgian authorities have started electric energy supply to the city, including Ossetia. "We managed to restore cable TV partially as Russian militaries have destroyed television broadcaster," Vardzelashvili said.
