Azerbaijan, Baku, 22 August / Trend corr. I.Alizade / The opposition Classical Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (CPFPA) does not believe in alliance of the opposition parties boycotting the presidential elections.
"We want the cooperation centre of the opposition to be established. However, there are some difficulties to realize this initiative with officials of acting opposition," Mirmahmud Miralioglu, the chairman of the CPFPA, told journalists on 22 August.
The presidential elections will be held in Azerbaijan on 15 October. Majority of the opposition parties boycotts the elections process. The Popular Front Party, which is part of Azadlig bloc, began negotiations to establish the new cooperation centre of the opposition.
According to Miralioglu, the CPFPA received an appeal to join the opposition alliance. However, the party is not hurry to respond this appeal.
"Our representative participated in negotiations. We should discuss this issue with people, who hold the same view as us to determine our position," Miralioglu said.
