Georgia, Tbilisi, 8 September / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / David Bakradze, speaker of the Georgian Parliament, will visit to the United States on 8 September.
According to the Georgian Parliament, Bakradze will meet with Ban Ki-moon, the United Nations (UN) Secretary General and his assistant on political issues and peacekeeping operations.
During the visit, the speaker will hold meeting with heads of delegations of the UN countries, including France, Germany and the United Kingdom (UK).
The negotiations will focus on the Russian military intervention into situation in Georgia and withdrawal of all troops from the country.
On 9 September, the speaker of the Georgian Parliament will hold meetings with at the US Congress and Senate. Bakradzre will visit meeting of Foreign Relations Committee of the US Congress, where the Georgian issue will be discussed.
During the visit, Bakradze will meet with high-ranking officials of the White House and make a speech at the Strategic and Political Investigation Centre, as well.
