Azerbaijan, Baku, 26 September / Trend corr. R.Novruzov/ "The U.S. Department for Commerce's Commercial Service will open an office in Baku, Azerbaijan in mid-2009," U.S. Commerce Department Deputy Assistant Secretary Paul Dyck said at a news conference in Baku on 26 September.
"The new office will help to improve the efficiency of trade relations between the two countries, assisting the US companies to export their goods to Azerbaijan," Dyck said.
According to Dyck, there are great opportunities for US companies, from the agrarian sector to the IT field, even without the extracting sector, in which a rather gross number of US companies are operating.
The Commercial Service office will help to search opportunities to US exporters, to bring together the markets of Azerbaijan and the United States.
