On 26 September the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, attended the
inauguration ceremony of the plant of production of liquorice products in
Saatli region.
The Head of State pressed the button to put the plant into service.
The plant will have capacity of processing 200 thousand tons of liquorice. It
has 450 employees.
The President was informed that only the U.S. and China in the world have this
kind of plant.
President Aliyev praised the fact that Azerbaijan will export its liquorice products to foreign markets.
