Georgian Foreign Minister States Demands to French Minister
Georgia, Tbilisi, 10 October / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia /The Georgian and French Foreign Ministers met in Tbilisi. Bernard Kouchner arrived in Georgia and went to the Tbilisi Merriott hotel to meet with Yekaterina Tkeshelashvili. The meeting touched upon withdrawal of Russian troops from Georgia.
"We have discussed the issues regarding withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Georgia in details and I am pleased to be in Tbilisi again," said Kouchner.
Kushner pays 'significance' to his meeting with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili.
Tkeshelashvili voiced Georgia's position regarding restoration of the status quo on 7 August. "This means that Russian troops must leave Akhalgori, Kodor ravine and Perevi. Russia must carry out its entire obligation," said the Georgian Minister.
