Azerbaijan, Baku, 14 October/ Trend , corr K. Zarbaliyeva/ The Interior Ministry of Azerbaijan clarified reports about arrest of three police officers on charges of storing drug.
Aydin Zalov, chief investigator of Counter Narcotics and Narco-Business Department of Police Office of Nizami District of Baku was dismissed because of complaints of citizens at early September, Sadig Gozalov, spokesman for the Interior Ministry said to Trend .
About 16 grams of heroin was revealed in the service room of Zalov.
The head of the Department Zulfugar Mammadov was demoted after Zalov's arrest.
Gozalov said reports about arrest of the officer of Police Office of Nizami district of Baku were not true.
Gozalov said Zalov was dismissed and a suit was filed against him by the Prosecutor's Office.
