Ukraine, Kiev, 14 October / corr Trend Z.Novosvitskiy / The Ukrainian Security Services (USS) deny reports by some MPs from Yuliya Timoshenko's Block (YTB) about use of force by fighters of Alpha special division against MPs on 14 October in the office of Central Election Committee (CEC), UNIAN reported, referring to press-service of the USS.
"The situation was quite contrary," press-service reported. In connection with pressure, put on members of the CEC by strangers, which impeded fulfillment of their official duties, chairman of the CEC appealed to the state defense service and Ukrainian security services with request to strengthen his bodyguard and defense of members of the CEC, the USS said.
MPs from YTB Oleg Lyashko and Andrey Pavlovskiy stated that the Alpha special division possesses weapons and employees of State defense department blockaded the building of CEC in the morning. According to their data, fighters of Alpha do not allow MPs to leave or enter the building of CEC.
MP from YTB Andrey Kojemyakin, in his turn, state that fighters of Alpha inflicted physical injuries to three MPs in the building of CEC.
