Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, 14 October / corr Trend R.Meshadigasanli / The delegation of the Kyrgyz Defense Ministry, headed by Murat Beyshenbiyev, First Deputy Defense Minister, left for St-Petersburg on 14 October to attend 55th meeting of the Council of Defence Ministers of participating countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CDM CIS ), a source at Kyrgyz Defense Ministry told Trend .
The next meeting of CIS CDM will be presided by Anatoly Serdyukov, Russian Defence Minister. The results of work of Council for 2008 will be summed up, and documents and plans on the development and strengthening of co-operation between the CIS countries for the next year will be adopted.
CIS member countries are Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
