Turkey and Iran Sign Energy Co-operation Protocol
Turkey, Ankara, 18 November / Trend / On 18 November, Turkey and Iran signed a protocol on energy co-operation in Teheran. The protocol- agreement was signed by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey, Hilmi Guler and his Iranian colleague Gulam Hussein Nazari.
The document envisages further strengthening and development of co-operation of both countries in the energy sphere. Protocol also envisages a number of joint projects, in particular the building of gas pipeline for delivering natural gas from the South Pars field to Turkey, Hurriyet newspaper reported.
