Azerbaijan, Baku, 20 November / Trend , corr. D.Khatinoglu /Iranian MPs believe that the changes in the U.S. are simply words, and the general policy of the country will not change.

Iranian MPs, who are on their visit to Baku to participate at the " Azerbaijan's strategy of success in the 21st century" conference, Golamhossein Masudiya Reyhan and Sepah Ajerlu said in the interview to Trend that Barack Obama's winning in the presidential election will not lead to strategic changes in the country. A short term tactics change may take place.

A candidate from the Democratic party Barack Obama won the presidential election in the United States on 4 November. Obama promised to change the policy of the United States.

Reyhan said that the U.S. needs in changes, however, the changes take place in words rather than in actions.

"These changes are a mask, the U.S. officials want to show the world community and its population that America changes its unsuccessful foreign policy, as well as tries to solve the economic crisis and wills to restore its image. However, the official Washington is not serious," Reyhan said.

Ajerlu considers that the U.S. has a developed program, and regardless who will come to the office, no strategic changes is possible. "Changes may take place in tactics, but not in the general policy," Ajerlu said.

Iran are interested in restoration of relations with the U.S. for thirty years, but not the U.S.. "The United States rejects equal rights discussions with us. Since 1979, the U.S. puts pressure on Iran through economic sanctions, and this is unacceptable," Reyhan added.

The congratulation letter by the Iranian President to Obama shows that the official Tehran has good intentions.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad congratulated Obama with his election to the presidential post in the United States.

According to MPs, the U.S. sanctions on Iran had certain affects, but its influence was not so strong that could bring Iran to economic crisis.

If the U.S. will not change its policy, it may face a huge failure, crisis and ever collapse.

The relations between Iran and the U.S. become worsening in 1980, when 'Students, successors of Imam way' attacked on the U.S. Embassy in Teheran, and captured diplomats and employees of the Embassy.

Iran and the U.S. have not direct diplomatic relations for thirty years. The Switzerland Embassy represents the U.S. interests in Iran
