Azerbaijan, Baku, 21 November /corr. Trend R.Hafizoglu / The blockade of Gaza Strip is
directed against the Palestinians, and aimed at forcing them to lay down the
arm, but this will not end in success.
"The Palestinians will fight for the liberation of their land by the end, and
the present blockade will not stop them," the Foreign Minister of Palestine,
Mahmud Zahar, told Trend by telephone from Gaza Strip.
The blockade of Gaza began on 17 November after the renewal of the skirmishes
between the Palestinian resistance movement HAMAS and the Israeli Army TSAHAL.
"Israel takes these steps in order to force Palestinians to
end the fight, but we believe that with the aid of the pressure of the
international community, this blockade will be taken," said Zahar.
The President of Palestinian Autonomy Mahmud Abbas holds negotiations with the
international organizations, but still these negotiations are ineffective, said
the Foreign Minister of Palestine.
