MP Fraction Backs President’s Nominees to TV& Radio Corp. Supervisory Board.
Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, 10 Dec. / corr. Trend R. Meshadihasanli / Parliamentary fraction Ak Jol unilaterally backed the Kyrgyz President's nominee to the National TV and Radio Broadcasting Corporation (NTRC) Supervisory Board, Melis Erjigitov, Kyrgyzstan Parliament's spokesman, told Trend on 10 Dec.
Regular meeting of Ak Jol was presided by Azizbek Tursunbayev. During the meeting, MPs unilaterally backed 11 members of the Supervisory Board nominated by the President.
Kambarali Kongantiyev, plenipotentiary of the President in the Parliament, introduced the Kyrgyz President's nominees to MPs.
The President presented candidatures of 11 members of the NTRC Supervisory Board to the parliament in accordance with Kyrgyzstan's law on TV and Radio Broadcasting and regulations of the National TV and Radio Broadcasting Corporation," Kongantiyev said.
MPs backed the candidatures nominated by the President emphasizing important role of the Corporation.
