Azerbaijan and Kuwait will sign several agreements to develop economic cooperation.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is currently on a state visit to Kuwait.
The agreements will cover trade and economic cooperation, tourism and financial sectors, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kuwait Shahin Abdullayev told Trend over the phone from Kuwait.
The Azerbaijani State Committee on Statistics said Kuwaiti imports to Azerbaijan hit $502,400 in January-November 2008.
Aliyev is visiting Kuwait upon an invitation from Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad As-Sabah on Feb. 10-11.
Aliyev will meet with Parliamentary Speaker Jasem Al-Harafi and Prime Minister Naser Al-Mauhammad As-Sabah. The sides will review bilateral and regional relations.
