At least 16 people, including four children, were killed in an accident with a bus in the north-east of Egypt, reported RIA Novosti on Sunday,referring to the Agence France Presse.
The incident occurred on Saturday in the province of Sharqiya, where a bus collided with a truck.
"Among the dead four children," - said the agency source, adding that as a result of the accident injured four people.
No other details of the incident were reported.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Egypt, about 27 accidents occur in the country each year. On the road kill about seven thousand, 30 thousand more are injured and maimed. The main causes of the accident is called a bad technical state of transport and the violation of traffic rules by drivers.
