Both parties were dissatisfied with the decision of the Tbilisi Court on late billionaire Badri Patarkatsishvili. According to the decision, Joseph Key obtained the rights to execute Patarkatsishvili's last will.
Key's lawyer Archil Lezhava said the court declined to give his client the righst to manage Patarkatsishvili's estate. The billionaire's will was not read in court.
Lezhava will decide whether to take the matter to the Appeals Court together with his client as soon as he becomes familiar with the court's decision.
Lawyer of the billionaire's widow Lasha Birkaya is also displeased with the decision. The court issued a decision without any document confirming Key's right to execute Patarkatsishvili's estate, he said.
"This is an unprecedented case in Georgia as the court issued a decision without any documents," he said.
Birkaya said he will take the decision to the Appeals Court and demand Patarkatsishvili's estate be given to his widow and children.
