The Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University will commemorate the victims of the Khojali Genocide on Feb. 25, Arrangement and Student Committee Chairman Rasim Shirinov told Trend .
The event will be held with the support of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Kyrgyzstan and university management.
"The program is titled, 'We Understand Khojali Martyrs.' Fragments of a documentary film about the tragedy will be shown. The film was shot by Chingiz Mustafayev in 1992," Shirinov said.
Poems dedicated to the 17th anniversary of the Khojali tragedy will be read at the arrangement.
