Georgia, Tbilisi, Feb. 23 / Trend , N.Kirtskhalia / The format of Geneva negotiations is ineffective for solving conflicts, Georgian political scientists and experts said during the round table, which took place at the office of RIA Novosti in Tbilisi.

The discussions were attended by Soso Tsiskarishvili, Tornike Sharashenidze, Ramaz Sakvarelidze and Irakli Sesiashvili.

Experts assessed Geneva negotiations, emphasizing that the format of negotiations does not give an opportunity to achieve real results in regulating conflicts.

According to Tsiskarishvili, the result will appear only after they will begin bilateral meetings between real conflicting sides - Georgia and Russia.

The experts came to unanimous conclusion that the solution of the conflicts in Georgia is possible only when large states, and firstly the USA, will pressure on Russia.

"Everything depends on results of meeting between Obama and Medvedev," said Sakvarelidze.
