An Iranian court sentenced three citizens to death who were charged with exploding a mosque in 2008, the Fars Prosecutor's Office said on March 4.
The appeals court confirmed the death sentence, the Fars Prosecutor's Office official Ahmad Siyavushpur said. Siyavushpur said the exact time and place of death will be made public at a later date.
The convicted Mohsin A., Ali Asgar K. and Ruzbeh Z. were sentenced to death.
On April 12, 2008, a blast at a religious and cultural center in Shiraz killed 14 and injured 200.
The Iranian special services arrested 15 citizens involved in the blast.
Tehran said the criminals were in contact with the United Kingdom and U.S.
