The Baku police found a large consignment of drugs on city residents.
The Nasimi District Police Department's Office No. 19 seized 2.07 kilos of opium from 33-year-old former convict Azer Hasanov, the Baku Central Police Department told Trend on March 30.
The Nizami District Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division, Narcotics Combating Division and Police Office No. 24 found and seized 4.22 kilos of marijuana from 36-year-old Fazil Babirov.
Both citizens were arrested. A criminal case has been filed.
